Developed with funding from The Club Foundation, BMI Food & Beverage Management provides you with an in-depth look at food and beverage operations from a management and control perspective.
Completely revamped and relocated to the University of Houston in 2012, the five-day program offers a combination of classroom lecture and hands-on learning at various prestigious clubs throughout the Houston area. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit River Oaks Country Club, Houston Country Club and St. Arnolds Brewery. A wine tasting and a beer and cheese tasting will also be included in the schedule.

Two of the local clubs that will be visited during the week include River Oaks Country Club and Houston Country Club.
The week begins with a welcome reception on Sunday evening, November 6, at 5:30 p.m. in the Hall of Honor. A brief orientation of the week will be given at this reception. Class will begin on Monday morning, November 7, at 8:00 a.m. On most days, class will run from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. with the exception of Tuesday and Thursday, when the class will be on local club tours. Class is expected to end on Friday, November 11, at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Make sure that you mention you are with CMAA and that you will be attending the BMI Food and Beverage Management program to receive the reduced room rate.
The closest airport to the University of Houston is Hobby Airport. However, George Bush Intercontinental Airport is also an option.
