2008 World Conference on Club Management Education Programs

The 2008 World Conference on Club Management will offer approximately 80 education sessions addressing challenges facing today’s club managers. The Club Management Institute (CMI), after careful review of member comments, evaluations, trends and suggestions, has developed programming opportunities that will provide managers with the necessary knowledge and tools to face an ever-changing club environment.

All Conference education programs, including Pre-Conference and At-Conference Workshops, are designed so that managers will develop their skills and knowledge in the following nine club management competency areas:

• Human and Professional Resources
• Food and Beverage Management
• Management
• Marketing
• External and Governmental Influences
• Building and Facilities Management
• Golf/Sports and Recreation Management

CD Package to be Included with Full and Education Sessions Only Registration Registrations

Back again this year, the Full Registration and Education Sessions Only Registration categories will include a full set of the audio recordings (CD) from most of the 2008 World Conference education sessions, which will be mailed following the 2008 World Conference. This exciting addition to the registration packages was a huge success at the 2007 World Conference on Club Management in Anaheim and CMAA is happy to offer this package again in 2008.
