Golf Industry Show Team Solutions Day

Friday, February 1, 2008

Golf Industry Show Team Solutions Day is Friday, February 1, and will bring together owners/operators of golf facilities and the professional members of the golf course and club management industries for an innovative and exciting day. This is a day when we encourage you to attend the Show and Education sessions WITH the members of your club’s management team.

8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
Golf Industry Show General Session featuring The Mark of a Leader Doug Keeley

“Life is a story. My life, your life, your career – it is all a story. If you accept that it is a story, you have to accept accountability, because you are writing the story and you are the central character in the story.”

With these words, master storyteller Doug Keeley begins a unique journey with his audience into the heart of leadership, with a look at how some of the world’s most successful leaders and brands have changed the world. The journey is called THE MARK OF A LEADER.

THE MARK OF A LEADER is an unforgettable presentation like no other. The program is a treasure chest of inspiring stories about the world’s greatest leaders and brands, and the principles that have made them successful.

The stories use rare images, state of the art video, multimedia, original music, and are narrated by a live storyteller. They cover virtually every aspect of life, ranging from Apple to Starbucks, Roger Bannister to The Beatles, Sir Winston Churchill to Oprah, Chicken Soup for the Soul to Cirque du Soleil, golf to music.

You will be inspired to think about your role and priorities as a leader, and to improve your leadership skills, with some clear ways to do that. You will be challenged to look at your team and how it is functioning, and the perceptual barriers that are holding you back. Ultimately, you will be challenged to look at your story and the mark you are making on your organization and the world around you.

THE MARK OF A LEADER program has gained acclaim from some of the world’s most prestigious organizations, companies and associations for the powerful and positive impact it has on the lives and businesses of its audiences.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity of a lifetime!
