It is with great excitement that I invite you to Orlando, FL, January 31 – February 5, 2008, for CMAA’s 81st World Conference on Club Management and Golf Industry Show. We’ve got a great program planned with more than 80 education sessions, leading-edge workshops, seminars and round-table discussions that will deliver the best instruction and need-to-know information on the issues and challenges of managing private clubs.

I think you’ll be very impressed by the speakers for our ’08 program. The Opening Business Session will feature Christopher Gardner, CEO of Christopher Gardner International Holdings, who has one of the most amazing stories to tell of his road to success. You will be moved and inspired with a deeper understanding that nothing is impossible. The Closing Business Session speaker is New York Times #1 Best-Selling author and language/communication expert, Dr. Deborah Tannen. Dr. Tannen is a frequent guest on television, radio, news and information shows and has lectured audiences world-wide. She’ll help us build a new framework for understanding what’s really happening in the conversations we have, both at work and at home.

Do you need ideas for improving certain areas of your club operations? Maybe you have specific purchases already in mind. Either way, you will find it all at the Golf Industry Show. Vendors representing every facet of the club — from china and linens to software to golf course maintenance equipment — are ready to help. This is our second year with the Golf Industry Show and we’re happy to be able to offer you this unparalleled resource.
