Looking back at the year since leaving
Anaheim, the opportunities each one of us have had, by
virtue of our CMAA membership, have been too many to enumerate
here. Our Association continues to move forward, working
to meet the mandate inherent in its mission statement,
specifically “advancing the profession of club management
by fulfilling the educational and related needs of its
members.”
In a sense, I wish each CMAA member could have the opportunity
to see the Association from the perspective of national
president. While requiring time and commitment, the benefits
and insights (education) I have gained have enhanced not
only my professional life, but also my personal interests.
