The idea was to find a way to obain reimbursement from our insurance carrier for our pool leak and resulting closure, which occurred at the beginning of the pool season. We lost revenue from the pool café, and occurred additional expenses accommodating swim practices and meets, in addition to the cost of the actual repair. Once we isolated the cause of the pool leak, we set about reading our insurance policies. Most people think of Boiler and Machinery as large items such as air handlers, compressors and boilers. The policy uses the term related equipment, and we thought, what the heck? We submitted a hose clamp for coverage and we were successful. The part probably retails for less than $5.00. We received a check for $38, 548.52

The tree crew carries small, 3 compartment, zippered gym bags to store all of our safety equiptment, small hand tools, tape measures, compass etc. that we may need on any given job. By having everything with us and in one place we save time, money and increase the use of our safety equipment and become more efficient as a result (working safe/being organized)
