C.M.A.A members joined force wtih Widener's Facilities Management class for a tour of the Philadelphia Cricket Club. Several of the day's activities included a tour of the clubhouses, the indoor tennis facility, the new 18-hole golf course, and a discussion with the Assistant Director of Facilities. During the discussion, students asked questions about HVAC systems compactx and fluorescent lighting, and energy savings.
This was the chapter's first club tour related to facilities management. It exposed students to an area of hte club other than food and beverage or recreation. The chapter has decided to have similar tours next semester related to facilities management.
