The Program Categories Are as Follows:
1. Club Theme Parties: Successful events, announcements, publicity, etc. 16. Creative Use of Technology: Innovative and creative use of equipment/procedures within a club and its departments.
2. Special Holiday Programs: Mother's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Christmas or others. 17. Chief Operating Officer (COO) Concept: Ideas and philosophies that enhance the COO Concept within the club.
3. Club Dining Room Promotions: Promotions for increasing dining room traffic. 18. Renovation Programs: How-to manuals, checklists, tracking systems used to monitor facility improvements that strengthen club operations.
4. Private Party Ideas: Catering guides, banquet packages, special equipment used and service techniques. 19. Resource Conservation/Environmental Protection: Effective use of energy reduction techniques, recycling programs, chemical reduction, etc., to reinforce the club's community image.
5. Decoration Ideas and Lighting Techniques - Temporary: Transforming the room or club into different setting. 20. Golf Operations: Tournaments, promotions, amenities, incentives, member instruction and training for staff or caddies.
6. Youth Programs or Events: Sporting events, concepts, promotions, parties, or organized field trips for youths. 21. Golf Course Maintenance: Techniques, equipment, procedures, training, facility designs, safety programs, chemical/pest control, etc.
7. Employee Incentives: Unique programs to enhance morale, pride, teamwork, loyalty, and longevity. 22. Sports Operations: Boating, fitness concepts, swimming, racquet sport ideas and others.
8. Employee Benefits Programs: Innovative methods to compensate staff beyond typical health care and bonus programs. 23. Sports Programs/Events: Family, senior, wellness, indoor/outdoor, seasonal or year-round.
9. Employee Manuals: Handbooks, training manuals, job descriptions, hiring procedures, etc. 24. Facilities Management: Preventive maintenance programs, security systems, risk management programs concerning all club operations.
10. Special Employment Programs: Use of disabled, veterans, senior citizens, etc. 25. Board or Committee Relations: Successful meeting tactics, orientation programs, effective use of an agenda, surveys and "political" techniques.
11. Safety Programs: Safety, fire, disaster, need-to-know programs and/or emergency procedures or crisis communications plans. 26. Successful Food and Beverage Concepts: Menu items, presentation, non-alcholic concepts, wine marketing programs and special theme beverages.
12. Member Communication/Information Programs: Handbooks, guides, directories/yearbooks, history books, special calendars, etc. 27. Wine Promotions/Marketing: Unique programs to market wine. Judged by the CMAA International Wine Society.
13. Club Newsletters/Magazines: Weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc., club communications. 28. Cost-Saving Concepts: Any method, procedure, equipment, etc., used to reduce expenses and/ or improve member satisfaction.
14. Club History/Anniversary Celebrations: Publications, celebrations, history books, time capsules, etc. 29. Breakthrough Ideas: Responding to today's club issues and trends.
15. Membership Development: New member orientation, recruitment/retention techniques, plans, programs, etc.  
Menu Fair:  
30. Specialty Menu: Children's, Spa, Fitness Center, Breakfast, etc. 33. Casual Dining Menu
31. Club Function Menu 34. Banquet Menu: No entries.
32. Formal Dining Menu 35. Wine Lists - Small or Large: Pre-classify your entry as either a small or large list. Judged by the CMAA International Wine Society on selection, variety and quality of a club's wine list.
