Description:  This idea was implemented by utilizing various sources of communicative technology to effectively and creatively relay chapter events, concerns and information to our members.

General Reactions:   Most members were impressed and were open to the effective use of communication besides email; they said it was more interactive.  Other chapters can also use facebook, webshots and webdesign to use technology creatively.

Name:  Whitney Cherko, Michael Scheinman

School:  Cornell University

Description:  With such a large group of students, we need effective ways to stay in communication.  Therefore, we utilized a system already in place (Blackboard), complemented oral presentations (PowerPoint), and designed a club website to serve as a central information point.

General Reactions:   Our members have seamlessly integrated technology into their participation, staying up to date even when their busy.  Other chapters have the components they need – by putting them together as we have they can find similar success.
