Conveniently cut to fit into a stylized rack
at out concierge and other areas, this aptly
named collateral is an excellent tool for
conveying a snapshot of information delivered
monthly within account statements, and proves
to be a convenient size for members to post

The
Woman’s Club of Minneapolis
Kevin J Ehlert
The Bulletin has
been a Woman’s Club publication since
1907. It was recently rebranded and formatted.
The new look gives appeal to the younger
member demographic, while holding true to
the tradition of The Woman’s Club of
Minneapolis. The ads allow members to network
their services, and the calendar and articles
provide information to keep members involved
in the Club. Additionally, the publication
is posted on www.womansclub.org.
After production, printing, and postage,
the Bulletin nets $12,000+ on revenue
annually. |

The Golf
Outlook is a weekly newsletter that
enables the staff to be current on upcoming
events, programs, course conditions, the
weekly Platinum Basic, safety, and a
“Quote of the Week.” For the Golf Department, which has staggered
shifts, this newsletter gets pertinent information to everyone; even those who
might work an odd shift or miss a staff meeting. |

Boca
Raton Resort & Club
Kathleen

We changed
the format of our Boca Club Life newsletter
into a lively, upscale, and engaging BCL “magazine” in
order to bring members a publication that
truly reflects their Club lifestyle. Cleaner
pages and more white space to the new look-
which members love! Additionally, in response
to numerous member requests, we made it possible
for members to promote their business or
service with display advertising, which allows
the magazine to pay for itself and members
to communicate with each other. |

The Fort
Worth Club’s “Past and Present” newsletter
series was a branding initiative that built
on the nostalgia The Fort Worth Club represents.
In an independent survey done by Strategic
Insight Group in 2003 Club members site “history
and tradition” as one of the top reasons
for joining the Club. |

Mountain
Air is a seasonal vacation home for our members
and their families. It is important to them
to have knowledge of special events in advance.
Providing a yearly calendar and monthly newsletters
allows the members to plan their visits. |

Rolling
Rock Club
Simon H Carey
The “weekly
stream update” is not your typical
email blast… it is instead a dynamic
angler guide flowing with interesting subjects
like stream conditions, weather forecasts,
fly tying methods, casting techniques, staff
reports, trout gossip, tournament results,
and much more. |

Cindy Wright
This monthly
media source, directed first to members’ children,
has come to be a cost affective newsletter
promoting family events months in advance.
Containing lots of pictures of members’ children
and grandchildren, this publication is retained
at home longer because of its quick reference
content and keepsake tendencies. |

The CCV Weekender is
an electronic newsletter that was developed
to promote upcoming events and special features
taking place throughout the Club. It is sent
out every Thursday, and focuses on the weekend
and early part of the following week. This
gives us the opportunity to highlight last-minute
restaurant menu items, special entertainment
features, and upcoming events. It is also
used to congratulate members on accomplishments
and awards. The Weekender communicates
any maintenance taking place on Club property
that may impact the members. |

Wee
Burn Country Club
Tim Szempinski
The Club’s
Beach Club has stimulating events that occur
and are perhaps rescheduled due to weather
or last minute operations. We resurrected
a weekly paper that was produced, posted,
and passed out, indicating dining schedules,
special events, and the swim team’s
records. A modification was used to display
information in our napkin dispensers. |

Wee Burn’s
Beach Club’s snack bar is a very busy
area with families hustling and bustling
and eating everyday. All of our tables have
napkin dispensers, which we print on a weekly
basis that tells members and their children
about upcoming events and the status of our
teams. |
