At Short Hills Country Club, in Short Hills, NJ, GM Randy Gudanowski made his own holiday - Thanksgiving Eve. This sure winner came about after a declining attendance to the clubs's Thanksgiving Day festivities. Thanksgiving Eve festivities focused on the family, with a puppet show, a DJ and bingo. With his membership having such busy lives, a night about family was just what the membership ordered! This idea also won an Idea Fair Ribbon in San Antonio for the "Special Holiday Party" category.
