WGBH Auction. |
In
an effort to create awareness about the club management profession
and to make a positive contribution to the community, members
of the New England Chapter (NECMA) committed
to assisting WGBH with their annual auction.
The
WGBH Auction is a seven-day televised event that raises more
than $1.2 million for WGBH to produce and broadcast high-quality
public television programming.
Kathleen
A. Kelly, CHSP, NECMA Public Relations Chair, coordinated
this year's volunteer effort.
WGBH
has three public TV stations – Boston's WGBH 2 and 44
and WGBY 57 in Springfield, Massachusetts, plus their digital
counterparts – and three public radio stations: WGBH
89.7 in Boston (on Nantucket, heard on WNCK 89.5) and on Cape
Cod and the Islands, WCAI 90.1 and WNAN 91.1.
Thanks also to Peter Trombetta, CCM, for sharing these
