For several years, the National Capital Chapter has made significant charitable contributions, both locally and nationally. Recipients include Toys for Tots, S.O.M.E. and The Club Foundation's Willmoore H. Kendall Scholarship.

Pictured at right, Bill Sawin,CCM, and Tom Rodebaugh,CCM, presented a check for $28,000 to Betsy Mowell of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic. Since 1983, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic has fulfilled the wishes of more than 3,100 children from Maryland, Washington, DC, Northern Virginia and Delaware.

S.O.M.E. - So Others May Eat - provides meals and medical attention to those who can not afford it.

To date the National Capital Chapter has contributed more than $170,000 to various charities.
