Pardon
our casual appearance in this picture, but we have just completed
loading two trucks full with over 16,000 lbs of freight. Although
none of the staff will be heading for New Orleans and the
2005 CMAA World Conference on Club Management until next week
Thursday, we need to send all of the registration satchels
(almost 4,000) and Proceedings Manuals, plus our individual
office contents….well you get the picture.
You can see by the smiles on our faces that we are excited
about our 2005 CMAA ”Member/Guest Event”.
For those CMAA members that are not able to join us in the
“Big Easy”, all information, including election
results and daily photos will be available on ClubNet within
minutes of the events unfolding in New Orleans. The CMAA National
Offices are staffed and all Headquarters Staff members in
New Orleans will be responding to all CMAA member requests
on a daily basis.
On behalf of CMAA National President Jesse Thorpe and his
fellow CMAA National Officers and Board members we congratulate
all of you for your commitment to choosing to participate
in CMAA. It says a great deal about you and about our industry;
seeing so many managers clamoring for more and better education.
Whether you are with us in New Orleans taking part in a fantastic
week of programming to strengthen your leadership skills and
your marketability as a professional club manager or if you
have chosen to attend a BMI this year or your chapter’s
educational offerings, your professional association and I,
personally, renew our commitment to you as individuals. Let
