Canadian and American Managers Gather to Compete for
"The Polar Bear"

Each year, 16 members from the New York State Chapter of CMAA and 16 Managers from the Canadian Club Managers Association (CSCM) get together to renew friendships, exchange ideas, and compete on the links for the “Polar Bear”.

This year, the event was held at the Country Club of Rochester in Rochester NY, on September 19, 2005.

By the final score of 26-22, the American squad was able to wrest control of the trophy this year, ending a four year run by their friends from up North. The event has been held for more than fifty years, alternating each year between host clubs in each country.
