J. Lee Stall, General Manager of New Orleans Lawn Tennis Club, received ‘Club Manager of the Year’ honors at the USPTA Southern Division Convention, held at the North River Yacht and Country Club in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Stall, who has been the club’s general manager for 20 years, received the award for his ‘dedication and service to the USPTA, it’s mission and it’s goals’.  He was recognized for his exemplary efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina for both his service to the club members and to the club employees as well. Stall was noted for hiring only USPTA professionals and for encouraging continued education for them. He spoke passionately during his acceptance speech for club managers to support education and training opportunities for tennis professionals in an effort to keep pace with industry and professional changes.

Stall was also instrumental in helping both City Park Tennis Center and Audubon Park Tennis Center in their reopening efforts
