Desert Highlands GC Hosts Guns and Hoses Tournament

Each year, Desert Highlands Golf Club hosts the Annual Guns & Hoses Police/Fire Golf Tournament. This year 120 Police Officers and Firefighters from Scottsdale, Arizona, divided into teams and competed over 18 holes to see who would reign - the guns or the hoses!

This event fosters a positive working relationship with the local emergency personnel as well as introducing them to the DHGC community, facilities and staff. Scottsdale’s finest enjoyed breakfast, a fine round of golf, an awards luncheon, camaraderie and good natured competition while the Desert Highlands staff showed their appreciation to the officers and firefighters and the wonderful services they provide on a daily basis.

Congratulations to the champions - a team of Scottsdale Firefighters.

Many thanks to Terra Waldron, CCM, General Manager and Kelly Kubsch, Membership Communications Coordinator for providing these images.
