The Georgia Chapter recently held its annual Peach Classic, a fundraiser that supports Chapter scholarship programs, general support to the student chapter and the School of Hospitality at Georgia State.

The Chapter also partnered with Atlanta Chapter of the American Culinary Federation (ACF).  For the ACF’s efforts the GA CMAA presented the Atlanta ACF with a donation check for $5,000 for their charitable cause “USO-Operation Chef’s Unite.”  Operation Chef’s Unite feeds our armed forces and their families as they arrive home or depart for duty through Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson International Airport.

Many thanks to Joe Krenn, CCM, for sharing this information
