Student Chapter Activities
Student chapters hold regularly scheduled meetings under the guidance of a faculty advisor and a CMAA liaison manager. Chapter meetings provide students with opportunities to participate in valuable career growth activities such as professional development programs, site visits to local clubs, leadership opportunities as a chapter officer and chapter visits by club management professionals.

Student E-Newsletter
This online-only newsletter is sent via e-mail to all current student members on the 15th of each month. The newsletter includes information relating to CMAA student members in particular, with a calendar of events and other special interest areas. Download the latest edition today!

ClubCareers
CMAA’s newest member service allows students the opportunity to search for entry level and internship positions at clubs around the world. Members can register and submit their resumes online at www.clubcareers.org. Log on today for all your career service needs.

Club Foundation Scholarship Program

In 2008, The Club Foundation awarded seven $2,500 scholarships to outstanding students who demonstrate an interest in the club management profession each year. Information and application forms can be found online at www.clubfoundation.org.

ClubNet
CMAA’s official Web site, ClubNet, which can be accessed at www.cmaa.org contains information directly related to the club management profession. The online membership directory, career information, compensation and survey results and student forums are some of the highlights of the site.

Professional Development
Student members may attend many of CMAA’s education programs including senior chapter meetings and the Annual World Conference on Club Management held each winter. These sessions are ideal networking opportunities for student and managers to meet. Students also receive education credits for attending CMAA sponsored events.

Annual World Conference
Student receive discounted registration rates to attend CMAA’s Annual World Conference. The event includes four education sessions geared specifically for students. The “Career Opportunity Showcase”, a job fair for students looking for internship and post graduate positions as well as coaching, interviewing and networking with managers from around the world are a few of the reasons our students find this conference imperative to their professional development. The 2008 Annual World Conference on Club Management will be held in New Orleans, LA, February 6-10, 2009.

National Student Education Conference
This winter conference is an ideal venue for students to meet for a weekend of club education and networking prior to attending CMAA’s Annual World Conference.  The 4th Annual National Student Education Conference will be held in Charlotte, NC, October 31- November 3, 2008.

CMAA’s YEARBOOK
Annually, CMAA publishes this official and comprehensive Yearbook and membership roster. This annual publication is mailed to members in late Spring. A complete list of members can be found online at http://www.cmaa.org/mail/

Club Management Magazine
The Association’s official publication provides members with in-depth information on issues and legislation affecting the private club industry, current and future trends in club management and information about new products and services. This magazine is sent bi-monthly to member’s home addresses.
