The Club Foundation Names Sally Burns Rambo Scholarship Recipients

Alexandria, VA – November 26, 2012 – The Club Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of the inaugural Sally Burns Rambo Scholarship:

  • Rachel Ego, CCM, The Roaring Fork Club, Eagle, CO
  • Kelley Williams, CCM, Carlouel Yacht Club, Clearwater, FL
  • Lindsay Pizarro, CCM, Burlingame Country Club, Hillsborough, CA
  • Karen Peterson, CCM, Inglewood Golf Club, Kenmore, WA

In 2012, The Club Foundation established the Sally Burns Rambo Scholarship to honor Sally Burns Rambo, CCM, a mentor, role model and pioneer who paved the way for the success of countless club industry leaders. The scholarship provides financial support to female club managers interested in furthering their professional development. Recipients receive the tuition costs and up to $1,000 in travel expenses to attend their choice of one of the Business Management Institute (BMI) courses.
