Wine Society International Ambassador Job Description
Position on the Board: International Ambassador

Bylaw Statement About Position:
A non-voting Board of Manager position. International Ambassador(s) appointed annually by the Host.  International Ambassador(s) may be designated ad hoc.
Tenure of Office:
Appointed by Host annually.

Position Summary:
Workshop Facilitator for International Wine and Food Workshops. May also facilitate domestic wine and food workshops as requested by CMAA through CMAA International Wine Society.

Key Responsibilities:
Recommends, facilitates and operates domestic and international Food and Wine Workshops as requested by the International Wine Society and CMAA. Coordinates financial activities with CMAA controller as required.

Programming Responsibilities:
• Responsible for timely planning of workshops in conjunction with CMAA IWS Board of Managers.
• Develops and recommends future IWS tour programs two-three years in advance. Responsible for developing
marketing and advertising activities in coordination with CMAA National Staff.
• Responsible for fiscal control of IWS tours.
• Supports the activities and programming of the IWS to all CMAA managers.
• Supports the marketing and production of the IWS newsletter, Wine Society News.
• Completes assignments as given by the IWS Host in a timely and fiscally appropriate manner.
• Serves as directed by the Host on various committees or subcommittee as may be needed from time to time.
• Supports the mission of the IWS to the wine industry in general.
