Marietta Country Club located just north of Kennesaw Mountain is a premium full service Golf and Country Club that meets the social and recreational needs of its members and families. The Clubs services and programs offer its members and guests exceptional dining, social, entertainment and recreational experiences.

Founded in 1915 Marietta Country club has developed an outstanding 27-hole Robert Cupp design championship golf course. Amenities include a variety of outstanding venues for members to enjoy.

Amenities include a full service bar, casual dining room, men’s grill, banquet and meeting areas for up to 350, a 27 hole golf course, a golf shop, golf teaching facilities, swim, tennis, and fitness center.

Club is open 6 days per week, 12 months per year.

Brief Job Description

Manages the service of members and guests in the Dining Room, Main Bar, and the Men’s Grill. Supervises food service staff. Works in unison with hostess to greet and seat guests. Maintains service standards, order and cleanliness. Assures that guest satisfaction standards are constantly attained. Directly reports to the Clubhouse Manager.

Candidate Qualifications

Minimum of three years management experience in a country club or fine dining environment.
Interpersonal and time management skills.
Have an outgoing personality, a positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond.
Ability to teach organizational skills.
Have knowledge to operate POS system.
Manage and train staff of fine service.
Some Wine food pairing knowledge.
Coordinate communication between kitchen and food service staff.
Maintain quality service standards.
Constant inspection of dining room and service areas to maintain a clean and orderly environment.
Assure that pre-opening and closing tasks are accomplished.
Manage guest reservation systems.
Assists staff with food and beverage service when needed.
Assists with table clearing and resetting when needed.
Recommend when additional service supplies and small equipment are needed.
Must have the ability to work a flexible schedules and holidays.

Salary commensurate with experience. A Drug Free Workplace. Drug, alcohol screenings and background checks are required.
