Brief Job Description

         Richland Country Clubs Hospitality Internship Program provides real world experience at a premier country club located in Nashville, Tennessee.  Our program is tailored to introduce students to the tools and skills they will need to succeed and grow in their hospitality careers.

          In our twelve week summer program, students will be given the opportunity to work hands on with members in all food and beverage outlets.  Highlighted experiences include proper member engagement, business finance, inventory management, scheduling and food & beverage standards.  At the end of the program each student will gain the proper tools to aspire to someday be a Food and Beverage Director.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Enrolled in 4 or 2 year hospitality, tourism, business or food and beverage program.  Program will also be open to graduate students pursuing their Masters Degree in the same field.

Other Benefits

Students will be paid on an hourly basis with overtime as applicable.  Students can anticipate working between 35 and 40 hours per week.  Hours will be based on college/university requirements.

Richland Country Club will make every effort to accommodate any college or university’s requirements for school credit.  Please check with your college/university to find out the specific requirements for internships.

     Each intern will be graded on their performance on weekly basis,  as well as a mid-term evaluation and an end of internship assessment.  This gives interns an opportunity to identify their strengths and weaknesses and an opportunity for growth.
