Golf Facilities

  • 18 hole course, par 70, designed by Donald Ross
The Dayton Country Club golf course was originally designed by Donald Ross and revisited by Canadian architect, Geoffrey Cornish. Spectacular scenery surrounds this well-manicured golf course that is a pleasure to play yet a challenge for golfers at every skill level.

Our tennis facilities give the Dayton Country Club member the opportunity to benefit physically and socially year round from their favorite racquet sport. We are proud to offer private lessons, group lessons, clinics, drill groups, junior camps, programming, cardio-tennis, and special events for players of all ages and abilities.

Swimming Facilities

Our pool facility offers a junior Olympic-sized pool with a separate kiddie pool,volleyball court, basketball court, a bathhouse which offers restrooms, and a spacious patio/deck area with full food and beverage service.

Food and Beverage Director

Brief Job Description

The Food and Beverage Director is responsible for all food and beverage production and service for the club. They supervise the Executive Chef, Sales Director, Bar Manager, Banquet Coordinator, Dining Room Manager and supervisors of outlets such as snack bars, halfway houses, etc. They plan, implement, and execute budgets, hires, trains and supervises subordinates and applies relevant marketing principles to insure club members’ and guests’ needs are consistently exceeded.

 

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous private club experience. This individual will be computer literate with an ability to multitask with attention to detail; ability to work holidays and weekends as needed. Ability to coach, lead, direct, and manage supervisors and staff.

 

Educational Requirements

Associate or Bachelor Degree in business administration, hospitality management, or related field of study from an accredited college or university. Three to five years’ experience in food and beverage management. Professional certifications or designations in the country club and/or hospitality profession.
