Special Club Features

Founded in 1902, the Country Club of Little Rock is located at the Eastern most edge of the historic Pulaski Heights neighborhood. Our Club is situated with breathtaking views of the downtown Little Rock skyline and Arkansas River Valley. Our current Clubhouse (circa 1968) and Golf Course spans over 140 acres.

Our Members enjoy our beautifully rolling 100 acre championship golf course featuring Tyee Bentgrass Greens, as redesigned and restored by golf course architect Keith Foster. Indoor and outdoor tennis facilities, state of the art fitness center, resort style pool pavilion, several world class dining venues and a professional and courteous Member services staff, all assure that the Members of the Country Club of Little Rock are treated to a premiere Club lifestyle experience.

Brief Job Description

One of the Premier Clubs of the South is seeking a Professional Banquet Services/Food and Beverage Manager to facilitate and manage its banquet service operations in both formal and casual settings while assisting with management of our member dining areas as necessary.

The successful candidate will be a creative team player with extensive and verifiable experience within a premier resort, hotel, restaurant or private club setting. This individual must have impressive knowledge of Food and Beverage operations, be an organized and motivated self starter who appreciates true Southern Hospitality and Refinement, with the ability to creatively incorporate both into a busy calendar of events.Throughout the year we are host to many of the region’s most notable families, businesses and organizations, both as members and as sponsored guests, offering us the distinct privilege to be our member's "Destination of Choice" as a part of their most special occasions.

A serious eye for detail, combined with a creative sense of innovation, as well as a personality and demeanor conducive to gracious southern hospitality and daily interaction with a wonderful yet highly demanding membership is crucial for long-term success at this very special Club.Generating revenues of approximately $3,000,000 per year, with banquets and events representing nearly one-third of all Food and Beverage Revenues.

The Banquet Services Manager will be charged with assuring all details are attended to and that all systems and procedures for proper service are implemented and followed through on, while taking an active role to exceed our member’s expectations.

The successful candidate will be a proven leader with the ability to consistently train and motivate a large team in multiple venues while offering a diverse calendar of events of the highest quality attainable.

Candidate Qualifications

The desired candidate must be prepared to demonstrate his or her skills and must possess a verifiable and impeccable track record in the Hotel, Resort and/or Private Club Industry.

Educational Requirements

A Hospitality Degree is preferred, though not required, with a verifiable knowledge of cuisine, wine, beer and spirits desired. Professional Certification is helpful but not necessary. He or she will be an individual of high moral fiber with unquestionable personal and work ethics.
