Established in 1987, the 1,100-acre Forest Highlands luxury community is located two hours north of Phoenix and just five miles south of Flagstaff. Offering 24/7 security and guard gate, this luxury community has exquisite views of the surrounding forest, mountains, and lush golf courses. Forest Highlands Golf Club offers two courses ranked in the Top 10 in Arizona by Golf Digest —the Canyon Course (designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish) and the Meadow Course (designed by Tom Weiskopf)—both meticulously sculpted to fit the lay of the land, with fairways and greens weaving seamlessly into the landscape. It’s as if Mother Nature herself created these courses.
Members have the ability to use two distinct clubhouses; the Canyon or the Meadow Clubhouse. The best parts of northern Arizona are showcased at the Meadow Clubhouse, with its rustic wood interior, outdoor fire pit porch, and breathtaking dining-room view of the San Francisco Peaks. The Meadow dining room offers a bistro-style menu with a diverse blend of traditional and family-friendly fare available for take-out and delivery. The Meadow Clubhouse Recreation Center at Forest Highlands offers a wide variety of kids’ and family activities all week long. Kids’ camps, movies in the park, and family barbecues are just a few of the fun things happening throughout the year. Tradition and elegance describe the Canyon Clubhouse. The Canyon Clubhouse has a refined dining atmosphere in comfortable luxury and features; spectacular view of the San Francisco Peaks, full-view wine cellar; two-story central fireplace, and a lounge and outdoor dining patio with six high-definition wide-screen TVs. The large banquet room is perfect for wedding receptions, family reunions, anniversary parties, and social gatherings of every kind. Two private board rooms are sized for business meetings or smaller group functions.
Within the 1,100 pristine acres that comprise Forest Highlands lays a privileged, amenity-rich setting that extends outdoor recreation and indoor comforts. Just beyond the front gate is natural wonderland just waiting to be experienced; the community is five minutes south of the charming mountain town of Flagstaff, which serves as a gateway to a world of wonder and inspiration. At an elevation of 7,000 feet, Flagstaff is a year-round hub that offers a cultural mix of dining, arts, shopping and entertainment. The mountain town also backs up to the world’s largest ponderosa pine forest.
