Whitetail Club is truly a club for all seasons. In addition to the 12 miles of paved bike paths within the Whitetail Club property, we recently completed 10 miles of single track mountain bike trails. Also maintained by Whitetail staff are 20k of Nordic trails, sledding hills and a skating pond where all equipment necessary to enjoy these amenities are provided complimentary to our members.
Designed by industry leading Alpine Trails, the nine scenic trails cover more than 20 kilometers of diverse terrain within Whitetail Club. Each of the nine trails affords interesting challenges and spectacular scenery.
The Shore Lodge Marina, located at the southern end of Payette Lake, is the ideal launch site for your boat, canoe, or kayak. It’s a full-service facility, with daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal boat slip rentals.
You can arrange for sailing lessons, or charter a guided cruise for a couple or a small group.
The Marina also offers rentals, with just about anything you can think of for fun on the lake — from fishing poles, coolers, canoes, kayaks, to wicked fast Hobie Wave catamarans, two 24-foot Manitou pontoon boats, a member’s only Air Nautique wakeboard boat, and the Cutwater yacht – our 8 person classic Chris-Craft.

Over the past seven years, we have been tirelessly developing Whitetail Club as the premiere private club in the Pacific Northwest. From boat slips to bike trails, spa tretments to concierge services, and convenience stores to comfort stations, we've developed it all. In our pursuit to create a community unlike any other, there has been one amenity that has eluded us. The addition of a lakefront clubhouse on the shores of Payette Lake is something that we have been working on since we took ownership in 2008.
We are proud to announce that a lakefront clubhouse eludes us no more. In late March we acquired a private residence located directly next to Shore Lodge and connected to the Whitetail Club 'within the gates' by our trail and tunnel system. It is a stunning home with over 8,000 square feet of indoor space, 350 feet of lake frontage, and a large pier and dock on Payette Lake. We are in the process of transforming this residence into a world class lakefront clubhouse with a hopeful opening date in 2016.

WHITETAIL CHEF SUMMARY: Our Exclusive Club Chef is responsible for excellence in food preparation and production of all Club outlets; primarily Club House, Fish and Swim and Golf Grill. A strong focus is placed on the preparation of high quality food, while keeping in mind food costing. Our successful Club Chef leads by example, providing the culinary staff with effective, on-going training and mentorship to ensure that members receive an experience that is reflective of our Private Club.
- Building and fostering a cohesive team unit with a strong sense of culinary pride.
- Outlet food preparation, club banquets, off-site functions as well as in-home member functions; all while ensuring superior quality, consistency and brand identity.
- Managing the daily operations of the kitchen, including procurement, scheduling, meal preparation and service.
- Controlling food inventory, ordering, requisitioning, transfers and cost.
- Controlling labor costs and adjusting staffing according to seasonal business fluctuations.
- Establishing and representing the culinary identity of the Club via menus, specials, promotions, events etc.
- Accommodating member requests and challenges in a friendly and professional manner.
- Exceeding culinary expectations for all members and their guests.
- Assisting in recruiting, hiring and onboarding procedures.
- Assisting in creating and implementing menus, events, systems and procedures.
