Brief Job Description

Point O’ Woods has an immediate opening for a Food and Beverage Manager

The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for the organization and management of all dining facilities including the dining room, bar, bathrooms/locker rooms, outside snack bar and beverage cart.    

  • Is responsible for hiring, training, managing, and directing of wait staff, bartenders, server assistants, banquet staff, along with outside food and beverage services.
  • Manages, directs, and controls beverage inventories. 
  • Develops wine lists and bottle/glass wine sales promotion programs.
  • Supervises and directs all member and non-member banquet functions.
  • Monitors budgets and takes corrective action as necessary to assure budget goals are attained.

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of service in a Food and Beverage Management position.
  • Minimum 4 years industry related experience and/or college degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles and practices.
  • Computer literate.
  • Proficient with POS systems.

Salary Range

$45,000.00 to $54,999.00
