Special Club Features

Westside Sporting Grounds is a private sporting clays facility that has been in operation in Northwest Katy since 1996. Our sporting grounds offers three unique courses, a newly renovated clubhouse for our members, a 10,000 sq. ft. pavilion for event use and parking for 800+ vehicles. We offer a relaxed outdoor experience enjoyed both by our members and event attendees.

Summer Hours of Operation are Tuesday – Saturday 8:45am to 7:00pm, and Sunday 8:45am to 6:00pm.

Winter Hours of Operation are Tuesday – Saturday 8:45am to 6:00pm, and Sunday 8:45am to 5:00pm.

Club is open 6 days per week, 12 months per year.

Brief Job Description

The Membership Manager is responsible for increasing club membership and retaining current members through effective marketing and customer service. The ideal candidate will have an established track record of success maximizing membership recruitment, have a warm and engaging personality with a professional presence, and be a team player willing to assist with all areas of club management, including office administration and event execution.

Position Responsibilities

Develop, implement and execute marketing plan to double membership
Oversee and maintain the club website, keeping all information current and fresh
Manage the club Facebook account with pertinent information
Maintain timely Membership records
Report monthly on Membership metrics
Conduct tours for prospective and new members
Continually, personally contact all prospective and current members
Work alongside Event, Facility and Club Managers to ensure a successful, positive experience for all members and event attendees

Candidate Qualifications

3-5 years of related experience - Private club experience a plus
Open availability to include evenings and weekends
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cooperative environment
Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain working relationships with staff and members
Proven, clear written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate-level experience in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as QuickBooks and Point of Sale
