Winston-Salem is a “small” city of 240,000. We refer to it as a “10-minute town”, meaning you can get most anywhere in 10 minutes. We have every convenience, (shopping, service and amenity) of a large town with a noticeable lack of traffic. We are the home of Wake Forest University. The Club has a long history with the University and both Men’s and Ladies Golf Teams practice regularly at Old Town. With the tie, it’s not unusual to host the likes of Curtis Strange, Webb Simpson, Bill Haas, and Lanny Watkins.
