Special Club Features

Riverside Yacht Club is a family-oriented, neighborhood club that is busiest in the summer, with an active Junior Program, outdoor dining, and a full marina. Riverside Yacht Club has recently completed a full renovation of its clubhouse, increasing membership dining and expanding its casual dining, deck, and bar seating. Membership enthusiasm continues and in addition to membership dining, the summer calendar is filled with regattas, club events, and private parties.

Brief Job Description

This internship has a focus on food and beverage, as well as service, in á la carte dining as well as a wide variety of special functions. In addition to a concentration on service and membership interaction, the intern will have exposure to other departments (Front Desk, Kitchen, Accounting, Waterfront) to gain a deeper understanding of the entire operation.

This internship is ideal for students who are looking for exposure to the hospitality industry or private clubs.

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic and motivate college students pursuing a degree related to hospitality. The ability to work well with a team, attention to detail, and the desire to learn and grow are necessary to succeed in this internship.

Riverside Yacht Club provides housing on-site, as well as meals for all interns. There is easy access from the club by train to New York City (40 minutes) and Stamford, Connecticut (10 minutes).
