Brief Job Description
SHGC is a high caliber, fine-dining establishment with a strong emphasis on superior service. A la carte lunch and dinner is served as well as special member events and private functions.
The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for:
- Supervising dining service in the main clubhouse.
- Maintaining a high level of member contact throughout service hours.
- Assuring a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of dining room.
- Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of food service.
- Supervising and training dining room wait staff team on a daily basis.
- Available May through late October. Candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends with a weekly schedule ranging from 38-50 hours per week.
- Competitive hourly wage with opportunity to earn overtime pay. SHGC is a non-tipping facility.
Candidate Qualifications
•The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one to two years of food and beverage service experience within a hospitality environment. Candidates with demonstrated equivalent training and experience will be considered.
•An overriding sense and appreciation for quality and eye for detail.
•An extremely strong work ethic.
•Ability to select, motivate, and develop a service-driven team of professionals.
•Effective written and verbal communication skills.
•Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
