Job Description
The Cleveland Racquet Club is seeking a talented, engaging, enthusiastic and hard-working candidate to become a Management Rotational Intern. The ideal candidate would actively participate in a Hospitality Management or related field degree program. We are looking for someone that knows how to deliver memorable experiences, maintain quality standards, and ensure a consistent experience to all our members. We believe in fostering strong relationships with our team members.
Position Overview
This 12-week summer program will perform a two-week rotation throughout each department of the club providing excellent exposure in all aspects of the club management operation. A brief description is below:
Facilities Rotation
- Provide daily walkthrough of building and address issues.
- Understand and follow daily cleaning schedules.
Marketing & Membership Rotation
- Create communication and marketing materials and post to social media.
- Assist in touring new members and engaging them to the Club.
Finance Rotation
- Compile and understand club financial statements.
- Assist in hiring and onboarding summer help.
Food & Beverage Rotation
- Assist with the execution of all member held private events.
- Increase leadership and communication skills within serving at our Snack Bar and other main dining outlets.
Upper Management Rotation
- Work with General Manager on business operations and attend meetings.
- Assemble board governance procedures and compile committee files.
Racquet Sports Rotation
- Assist with all racquet sport events and summer camp.
- Work daily in the pro shop and facilitate a variety of member needs.
