Position Description:

Manage all aspects of the clubhouse including its activities and the relationships between the club and its Board of Directors, members, guests, employees, community, government and industry. Coordinate and administer the club’s policies as defined by the Board of Directors. Develop operating policies and procedures and direct the work of all clubhouse employees. Monitor and work within the budget set forth by the Board of Directors. Monitor quality of all Troy Country Club’s products and services to ensure maximum member and guest satisfaction while striving to increase the profitability of Troy Country Club’s Food and Beverage services. Secure and protect Troy Country Club’s assets, including facilities and equipment.

Candidate Qualifications

Job Tasks (Duties) included but not limited too.

  • Promotes the club’s services and facilities to potential and present members.
  • Responsibly for Restaurant and Bar Business Segment Quality and Performance.
    • Develop and maintain a sound organizational plan Restaurant and Bar Business Segment.
    • Establish, personnel policy, pertaining to personnel actions and training of Restaurant and Bar Business Segment.
    • Directs purchasing, receiving, storage, issuing, preparation, and control of all products, supplies and equipment Restaurant and Bar Business Segment
  • Consistently assures that the club is operated in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal laws.
  • Schedules, supervises and directs the work of all clubhouse employees. Including the personnel-related matters of compensation, job changes, performance evaluations and employee disciplinary action.
  • Oversees the care and maintenance of the club’s physical non-golf assets, facilities including the pool.
  • Assists Accountant in managing cash flow and establishes controls to safeguard funds.
  • Initiates programs to provide members with a variety of popular events.
  • Develop and maintain a website and social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. 
  • Performs other duties as directed by the President and Board.
