Windows Restaurant Manager

Brief Job Description

The Windows Restaurant Manager will report to the Food & Beverage Manager, and will lead the day to day operations of the Windows Restaurant and Langford Lounge, and manage club-wide beverage operations.
Develop and implement programs to enhance the member dining experience and drive revenues through service excellence and increased dining traffic.
Assure a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of the Windows Restaurant and Langford Lounge.
Ensure timeliness of food service.
Supervise and provide ongoing training/professional development for service staff.
Manage within budgetary restraints and evaluate operating results.

Candidate Qualifications

Passion to participate in and contribute to a professional management team.
3+ years of dining room/restaurant supervisory experience in a full service, a la carte restaurant or private club; fine dining experience is preferred.
Experience managing beverage programs and procuring beverage inventory, including wine, spirits, and beer is preferred.
Working knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer, with the proven ability to create successful food and wine pairings.
Technical competency in MS Office, e-mail, web browsing, and Point of Sale Software required; competency in Jonas Club Management Software preferred.

Educational Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; bachelors degree from a four-year college or university with concentration in hospitality is preferred.
