Brief Job Description

In search of an energetic professional dedicated to the promotion, planning, preparation, event organization, and exceeding member expectations for parties, events and club functions representing a premier private country club located in Severna Park, Maryland.

The Director of Events is considered one of our nine Senior Staff Managers and reports directly to the General Mmanager. The Director of Events works with members, guests, Department Heads, and committees to build and create memorable events of all kinds. Candidate must have a friendly out-going personality with the skillset to include sales, organization, creativity and communication. Works closely with Food and Beverage operators to ensure plans and services meet and/or exceed expectations.

Candidate Qualifications

Must have a minimum of two years of catering and/or F & B operational experience at a private country club.

Candidates with less experience will be considered, if warranted.

Educational Requirements

High School diploma or GED required; B.A. in marketing, sales, or communcation preferred.
