Catering Director

Brief Job Description

Columbine Country Club is currently seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Catering Director for immediate hire.  The Catering Director is responsible for sales management regarding the promotion and booking of club functions, wedding and event planning, social events, banquets, and dining facilities. The Catering Director carefully reviews the preparation, set-up, execution, and details for all functions held at the Club, operates a prompt, accessible, and responsive Catering office to the membership, management, and accounting of the Club.

Candidate Qualifications

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sales management in regard to the promotion and booking of Club functions, Wedding and Event planning, social events, banquets, and dining facilities.
  • Carefully reviews the preparation, set-up, execution, and details for all functions held at the Club, operates a prompt, accessible, and responsive Catering office to the membership, management, and accounting of the Club.
  • Coordinate site visits with clients and expertly communicate event policy details, billing and menu offerings for every event space.
  • Building relationships with new and repeat catering business from members and non-members.
  • Ensure that the clients’ vision is executed with the assistance of the Event Coordinator and the entire Food & Beverage team.

Educational Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years event planning and management in the Hospitality Industry.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years restaurant or hospitality management.
  • Basic data entry and Industry knowledge of event booking software.
  • Desire to thrive in the recreational and event planning industry.
  • Ability to lift 30lbs.
  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
