Assistant Controller

The ideal candidate must have the ability to support Mediterra’s values and strategic objectives. The candidate needs to be a proactive member of the accounting team with the ability to recognize problem areas, solve and/or propose solutions with minimum guidance. The position requires a highly motivated individual with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a customer service skillset and a value on teamwork.

Candidate Qualifications

Manage the collection and billing issues.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of related experience
- Requires thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Must be proficient in A/P, A/R, general ledger and audit procedures
- Requires a high level of computer skills, including an understanding of accounting software, spreadsheets and the skills to operate and train others on their use
- Requires complex problem-solving skills
- Accounting or CPA career track

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
