Cherokee Town and Country Club, a dual clubhouse facility, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is a 65-year-old member-owned club with 2,500 members. The Town Club is located in the exclusive Buckhead area with its formal fine dining room, casual members dining room, and family-friendly dining room has banquet facilities including a ballroom seating 350, plus 8 private dining rooms. All dining outlets are serviced by one of the Southeast largest wine cellars of more than 22,000 bottles. Additionally, the Town Club offers 16 clay courts, 2 platform tennis courts, 3 pools, and a comprehensive Fitness Center. The Country Club is located in Sandy Springs next to the Chattahoochee River with its modern clubhouse house features 2 breathtaking golf courses designed by Tom Fazio and a top-rated Golf Shop with casual dining and a men's grill and 3 swimming pools.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR TERRACE LEVEL MULTI-RESTAURANT ASSISTANT MANAGER

As our Terrace Level Multi-Restaurant Assistant Manager, you direct the activities of the Terrace Level food and beverage service staff. This includes hiring, training, and scheduling our team. You work hard to make sure your team works cohesively and that our restaurants run smoothly. Working alongside the Terrace Level Chef, you ensure the proper setup of all buffets and special events. Your experience, love of customer service, and hands-on management style assist you in motivating your team.

During mealtime, you act as a greeter/host to welcome and seat members and guests as they arrive. Interacting with our members and guests is your favorite part of your job as you have the opportunity to meet new people and ensure they receive proper and attentive service in a clean and pleasant atmosphere. Throughout their dining experience, you check in on them and ensure they are happy when they leave. If challenging opportunities arise, you take charge and are sure to provide excellent customer service.

Although you enjoy working with people, you also do some work behind the scenes. Keeping the club's Northstar POS system up to date, you change menu items, run reports, and add member preferences and dining room reservations. You also develop and implement annual marketing plans for our restaurants and play an essential role in our operating budgets. You review monthly profit and loss statements to determine our degree of efficiency. You take pride in your work and are passionate about providing our members with the best possible service!

Candidate Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hospitality degree
  • Work experience with food and beverage operations
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Restaurant Manager
