Special Club Features

Beach Point Club is a private club in Westchester County, New York (approximately 30 minutes north of New York City).  Beach Point has several indoor and outdoor dining facilities; a marina to accommodate those members with yachting interests; tennis and paddle tennis courts; brand new pool facilities and bar; full bathhouse and locker facilities; and a beach area. The Club operates several summer programs ranging from tennis lessons to swimming and sailing lessons, a junior sailing program, and a large summer day camp.

Club is open 7 days per week, 12 months per year.

Brief Job Description

Tennis Maintenance

General Description:

The Tennis Maintenance employee is responsible for daily maintenance of indoor and outdoor courts, junior facility, indoor facility, and overall cleanliness of the surrounding areas.

Essential Functions:

  • Broom and line clay courts as part of the daily preparation of the courts
  • Clean and remove all debris from the clay courts
  • Blow the tennis deck and surrounding area
  • Roll clay courts as needed
  • Fix windscreens, including pulling them up in the fall and re-attaching in the spring
  • Prepare all water coolers
  • Collect all trash
  • Fix and replace sprinkler heads and pipes as needed
  • Lute and scrape around clay courts to even out the clay and smooth out the rough spots
  • Sweep and vacuum the indoor facility

Hours/Schedule:

This position typically works from 6:30a.m. - 2:30p.m. Monday through Friday. However, there are a variety of shifts available depending on the availability of the best candidate.

Compensation/Benefits:

This position is paid at an hourly rate. Charlotte Country Club offers benefits for all eligible Full Time employees and free meal during shifts.
