Special Club Features

Nestled in the quaint village of Gates Mills, just 25 miles east of Cleveland, Ohio, The Chagrin Valley Hunt Club is a historic private country club.

Founded over 100 years ago during the region’s booming industrial era, the Hunt Club’s history began on the banks of the Chagrin River in a rustic tavern that served as a meeting house for a handful of ardent fox hunting enthusiasts escaping the city bustle.

Now, the modern Chagrin Valley Hunt Club offers fine dining, event and meeting facilities, court and platform tennis, and a newly-renovated outdoor swimming pool on a lush 15 acre campus, which also includes the Chagrin Valley Hunt foxhound and beagles kennel and Chagrin Valley Stables horse boarding and riding facilities.

Club is open 6 days per week, 11 months per year.

Intern

Brief Job Description

The Chagrin Valley Hunt Club is searching for a motivated intern that will provide excellent service and learn more about the club industry.

Those events include member dining events, pool parties, rehearsal dinners, weddings, cocktail parties, dinner parties and other member sponsored events. The intern will coordinate with the host and club staff to ensure the event is set up properly and is executed flawlessly.

Since we expect all our team members to be “utility players,” our intern will be expected to pitch in as needed during other club events as needed.
