Golf Facilities

Famed course architect Bob Cupp redesigned Druid Hills to the "golden age of golf." Our course is both playable and challenging. Perfectly blended with the natural surroundings of Druid Hills, each round is an enjoyable experience. There is a complete practice facility with a driving range and a short game practice area. Personal and group lessons are available from our top rated staff of professionals. Approximately 30,000 rounds are played annually on our 18-hole championship golf course.

Tennis Center is a polite understatement for our facility. Constructed in 2007 with 4 hard and 7 clay courts, we offer the best instruction from a team of Atlanta's top pros, unparalleled facilities and a pro shop that rivals the best in the business. With multiple lounges, locker rooms for both men and women and outdoor and indoor viewing decks -- with big screen TV's nearly everywhere -- the tennis experience at Druid Hills provides the novice beginner or the "A" level competitor with everything they want in tennis. The pro shop offers the very latest in tennis apparel and equipment galore -- everything you'll want and everything you'll need in tennis. Tennis is a way of life at Druid Hills and the Tennis Center reflects the vibrancy and excitement of our tennis enthusiasts. Druid Hills offers a year-round, total tennis program for all levels of ability for men, women and juniors. Members of all ages can be seen throughout the day on one of our eleven championship courts, each with a private entrance and exit and evening lighting. With the assistance of our staff, including the Tennis Director and top pros, members receive the education and support to grow as players, whether leisurely or competitively. The club enjoys a very active tennis program with approximately 27,000 plays on 11 courts.

Swimming Facilities

Sporting a pool complex consisting of three pools, Druid Hills offers the perfect summer getaway from the daily grind. Our snack bar menu serves a full complement of items from salads and sandwiches to a great menu for the kids. With a covered stone fireplace and brand new pool bar, complete with big screen TV's, the pool is an ideal place for all to gather and relax on a summer evening. Our Championship swimming program is one of the best in the city. The Druid Hills Dolphins have competed at high levels to earn recognition as Country Club Swim League Champions.

Other Athletic Facilities

Druid Hills Golf Club offers a state of the art Fitness Center fully equipped with Cybex Eagle strength training equipment, free weights, treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, stair steppers and a rower. The Fitness Center offers one-on-one or group personal training by an experienced, professional and extremely adept training team. The Fitness Center has everything you will ever need in a fitness facility including group fitness classes ranging from Pilates to Step Aerobics to Spin. With a certified athletic trainer on staff managing the operation and available to direct you every step of the way, your fitness and wellness goals are within your reach. Don’t just better your body, better your mind by enjoying a massage in one of our tranquil massage rooms, and relax in the men’s and women’s locker rooms, each including a sauna. Our team of personal masseuses will realign your body and help you fully relax after a long day of work or intense workout. The club also offers a robust Youth Activities program. Ranging from our daily Kids Corner service, to week-long exciting summer camps or overnight field trips, there is a vast array of programming and fun for our little ones to enjoy!

Druid Hills Golf Club is seeking out motivated and enthusiastic leaders to take part in our Internship program as a part of our Food and Beverage team this summer! Interns have a primary area of focus but involve a rotational component in order to gain experience and exposure to other club departments. Our internship positions include:

F&B Supervisory Intern: This internship will focus primarily on the club dining room experience for Members and their guests. Responsibilities will focus heavily on leading daily operations of the casual and adult dining facilities. Other duties will include assisting with scheduling, staff training, ensuring standards are exceeded regularly and planning and executing functions. This is preferably a rising Senior or Graduate, who has previously held an internship or has significant F&B experience.

Pool Snack Bar Supervisor: This internship will focus primarily on the pool experience for Members and their guests. Responsibilities will focus heavily on leading daily operations of the Pool Snack Bar and general pool service. Other duties will include assisting with scheduling, payroll, staff training, ensuring standards are exceeded regularly and planning and executing functions at the pool. This is preferably a rising Senior or Graduate, who has previously held an internship or has significant F&B experience.

Pool Snack Bar Intern: This internship will focus primarily on the pool experience for Members and their guests. You will work together with the Pool Snack Bar Supervisor and responsibilities will focus heavily on leading daily operations of the Pool Snack Bar and general pool service. This is a good entry level internship opportunity.

Interns will be encouraged to attend CMAA Georgia Chapter events throughout their stay. If applicable, Druid Hills Golf Club will make every effort to accommodate each Student’s pursuit of school credits when provided a list of University requirements.

Candidate Qualifications

Candidate Qualifications
The successful candidates will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated Hospitality Student, preferably third or fourth year who is active in their CMAA student chapter. Candidates must show excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Druid Hills Golf Club expects candidates to show a strong work ethic, a positive attitude towards work, and the desire to constantly improve themselves and others. Qualified candidates must be team players who are motivated to exceed member and guest expectations with every interaction, have an attention to detail, and have the ability to multi-task. Private Clubs are highly specialized environment, and the successful candidates will need to maintain a professional demeanor. Must be able to bend, stoop, pull and lift as well as be able to continuously stand, walk, and perform repetitive actions for extended periods of time. These positions will be exposed to varying or extreme outdoor temperatures. The ideal intern will have the ability to commit to a 3-4 month position for the full summer, starting before Memorial Day.

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per company standards. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to reflect the business needs of the club. Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Druid Hills Golf Clubs rules and regulations.
