Special Club Features

As Portland’s only country club on the river, the Willamette is a central part of the experience at Waverley. The riverfront lawn serves as the welcoming boundary of our campus, and the ideal place for casual grass-underfoot relaxation, whether it’s a delightful lunch with friends, a quiet afternoon sorting through your inbox, or sunset cocktails celebrating another perfect day. Offering the same river views, our Clubhouse patio is one of Portland’s most highly-coveted backdrops for life’s celebrations and milestone occasions. Members also love the fact they can come and go by boat, and use the Waverley dock as the perfect place to launch a kayak or canoe, or take sail on the river.

Our members unite around a golf course renowned for its natural splendor; pristine conditions, acclaimed architecture and year-round playability—and a culture that celebrates the game’s most time-honored traditions while embracing the creation of new ones.  We invest heartily in golf’s future, supporting generations in and around the game, from Evans Caddie Scholars to tomorrow’s touring professionals, Waverley has long played a foundational role in promoting amateur golf in the Pacific Northwest.

Whether on the golf course or the tennis court, the swimming pool or on the river, Waverley families know this is Portland’s most casually refined yet fully engaging place to have fun, stay active and make up for lost time together.

Club is open 6 days per week, 12 months per year.
