Special Club Features
Rich Harvest Farms is an ultra-private golf club in Sugar Grove, IL. Located approximately 50 miles due west of Chicago, it was home to the 2009 LPGA Solheim Cup, 2017 NCAA Men and Women Division I Golf National Championships and will host the upcoming 2019 Western Junior Amateur Championship.
Hosting a number of unique events each year for the membership and owner, Rich Harvest Farms is truly a one-of-a-kind facility for members, guests, and employees.

Brief Job Description
Rich Harvest Farms is a unique ultra-private golf club located 50 miles west of downtown Chicago. The selected individuals will be run through every facet of banquet service, hotel service, inventory and ordering, and assist in other capacities dealing with golf operations, a la carte dining and housekeeping. Interns will be able to learn and experience these operations in a much lower volume setting, permitting a more thorough understanding of the day-in day-out business they are looking to pursue a career in. We are currently seeking applicants for August 15th through November 1st portion of the 2019 season.
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates will need to assist in the operation of on-property lodging including concierge service, valet service, bell-hop service, front desk service and housekeeping operations. Candidates will need to assist in the food service operation including event setup, event cleanup, event operations, banquet server, a la carte server, and kitchen steward. Candidates will also assist in other departments such as Golf Operations, Golf Course Grounds, and Clubhouse Operations. Candidates will need to maintain themselves to Rich Harvest Farms standards in appearance, demeanor, and communication with Members, guests, and employees. Those candidates seeking academic credit will need to relate academic benchmarks during the internship as applicable. Candidates will need to withstand prolonged periods of standing and movement, have the ability to left 50lbs without restriction, and be able to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Candidates also must complete all tasks as assigned by superiors including but not limited to the above list.
Educational Requirements
Those individuals that are currently in a hospitality or hospitality-related degree programs as well as individuals in a business, sports-management, or other related programs are welcome to apply. Recent graduates are welcome to apply as well.

Pay rate for the position is $11.00 / hr overtime eligible. Additional benefits include staff uniforms provided free of charge (we do ask individuals to bring formal dress clothes including a sportjacket and dress shirt), golf course privileges at restricted times, and most pro shop goods at cost +10%. Limited on-site housing is available for $150.00 / month which includes all utilities, internet, DirectTV, and own bedroom / bathroom.
