Teens programming includes such activities as tennis clinics, volleyball, nature walks, golf, horseback riding, fishing, as well as individual help with homework and school assignments.

Job Summary: 

Washes and stores all pots, pans, dishes, and kitchen utensils/equipment: mops floor, assists in garbage disposal and completes other special cleaning projects in the proper manner during the assigned shift. Responsible for the sanitation of the assigned general kitchen areas or function sites. To set up and break down functions and events according to company standards and other assigned projects.

Typical Physical/Mental Demands:

Requires mobility and prolonged standing. Bending and reaching to a height of eight feet.  Transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to thirty (30) pounds.  Working at a height of four (4) feet. Normal sense of smell, taste, touch, and sound. Normal vision range.  Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity.  Ability to distinguish letter, figures, symbols, and colors. Work may be performed in small areas having a three-foot access.  Work entails chemical usage.  Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.

 

Examples of Duties (includes but not limited to the following):

Clean and sanitize pots, dishes, silverware, and other utensils used in the kitchen according to standards.

Clean and set banquet buffet equipment to company’s standard at least thirty (30) minutes before assigned event starts.

Ensure charcoal and gas grills are light at least thirty (30) minutes before function starts.

If ice is needed ensure ice is placed in required location in the correct equipment at least forty (40) minutes before the function starts

Utilize correct cleaning agents for designated items according to standards.

Transport all banquet equipment to and from function site, clean and return to the storeroom and in assigned location.

When finished using all transportation equipment they must be cleaned, parked, or stored in the correct location that is assigned to it.

Set up all risers for functions to standard and as assigned.

As assigned ensure the correct number of clean polished china as per BEO plus 10% in a warmer to be heated at least three (3) hours before the food is plated.

Check with the Chef to see what time the food will be plated. Be in place to put the hot plates at the beginning of the plating assembly line and the plate covers at the end of the line.

Keep pots and pan storage racks clean, including surrounding counters, walls, and closets

Clean all floor areas in the kitchen, function site and other back-of-the-house areas using prescribed chemicals, supplies, and equipment

Clean all mobile and stationary equipment including mats

Ensure items are air dried before storage and maintain organization of supply/storage closets

Store wares in neat fashion and rotate stock so that all items are used regularly

Remove trash to dumpster, empty and clean containers according to standards.

Exercise initiative ensuring areas are kept clean, trash and debris free as needed.

Organize the breakdown area for soiled wares according to department standards

Organize and restock work areas for next shift as specified by departmental standards

Perform other reasonable duties that may be requested from time to time.

The Club operates with flexible business hours. Therefore, you may be scheduled to work shifts, which may change from time to time.

Always displays the highest standards of customer service, welcoming members in a polite, gracious, and enthusiastic manner; always paying attention; anticipating and meeting their needs.

Responds quickly and positively to members’ questions, requests, problems, and complaints and resolves them effectively and consistently.

Always smiles and engages our members first, using their name when appropriate and always maintaining eye contact.

Always demonstrates departmental knowledge and efficiency.

Stays well groomed, looking professional, clean, and appropriately fitted in compliance with the club standards.

Follow and enforce health, welfare, and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests and fellow team members.

Ensure your workspace is cleaned and sanitized as directed by the club.

Practice good hygiene prior to reporting to work and when returning to your assigned workstation. This includes, but is not limited to washing your hands, avoid touching your face, limiting unnecessary physical contact with others, coughing/sneezing into a tissue or the inside of your elbow, and disinfecting frequently used items and surfaces in your work area as directed by Management using company provided cleaning products.

Wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment such as masks or gloves from time to time as directed by the Company. Adheres to all Health & Safety, sanitation and safety regulations as required by the Company.               

 

Candidate Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent vocational training preferred.

Minimum 1 year experience as hotel/restaurant dishwasher or in janitorial / cleaning position preferred.

Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
