During the program, MIT will gain professional experience in a large and highly recognized food and beverage operation at a club that is consistently recognized by Boardroom Magazine as a Distinguished Club – Elite Status. Kenwood Country Club will provide hands-on learning opportunities to include food and beverage service in both a la carte and banquet dining with the goal of gaining leadership experience and a comprehensive understanding of F&B Operations. Additional departmental training will be available for the following aspects of the club industry: accounting, membership, marketing, human resources, agronomy, purchasing, golf, racquets, aquatics, etc. At the completion of the program, MIT’s will have gained knowledge and skills necessary to complete interviewing, hiring, training, coaching & counseling, scheduling, payroll, inventory, etc.
