Event Planning & Catering Intern
Brief Job Description
Old Town Club’s Event Planning & Catering Internship provides hands-on experience in the aspect of event planning and catering. This Internship provides a hands-on experience planning private parties, club events, and golf tournaments from a Food & Beverage viewpoint.
The Intern will sit in planning meetings with the Event Coordinator and Hosts to determine menus, seating arrangements, bar selections, and linen choices. The intern will take this information, compile it into staff documents for execution. Attend weekly banquet meetings and assist with event execution with the Food & Beverage Team.

In addition to field experience, interns will be provided housing, paid an hourly rate, and can expect to work 40+ hours each week. Pro shop discounts, uniforms, and a meal allowance is also provided. Interns must have their own transportation. Selected interns will be given the opportunity to attend regularly scheduled CMAA meetings while employed.
