A portion of the proceeds benefit The Club Foundation scholarships and grants for CMAA members, students, faculty, Chapters, and the club industry.
Housed within the Member Services Pavilion, the Career Services Center can help you take the next step in your own career as well as recruit and expand your club team.
Mark your calendars for Monday, February 21, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. This job-fair and networking forum is the place where students and managers can gather to discuss employment and internship opportunities as well as network and discuss goals and mentorship. Even if you do not have a current job opening at your club, managers looking to make an impact on the future leaders in the industry should plan to attend this event (Association Activity credit offered).
Share your club’s best ideas with other attendees through a visual medium (i.e., display boards). Entries are accepted in 18 operation categories from club events to cost saving to community outreach.
New this year: CMAA will print your entry board(s) for you. You do not need to print and ship them.
Start thinking, share your biggest ideas, and don’t forget to make time to browse these club-tested ideas on site. The At-Conference Idea Fair Committee will select a winner in each category and three overall winners. All entries will be posted on CMAA’s website after the event for attendees and non-attendees.
Please fill out the online Idea Fair Entry Form. This will automatically send your information to CMAA Headquarters. Entries will be accepted until January 24, 2022.
Are you a student looking to have more one-on-one time with a club management professional? Or are you a club management professional who has a passion for helping the next generation learn more about a career in club management? If you answered yes to either one of these questions, this program is for you! Mentors and mentees will be paired a few weeks prior to heading to San Diego to get to know one another and come up with a game plan for your time together at Conference. Schedule Royal Cup coffee breaks, a lunch or two, a “field trip” to the Club Business Expo, and/or make suggestions for which education sessions to attend based on interests and learning opportunities… the possibilities are endless! We are all so excited to be back in person for World Conference this year—the on-site Mentorship Program will surely help students and club managers connect and make the most of this time together!
Is this your first World Conference? We’ve got you covered! In advance of the event, listen to the January edition of the Let’s Talk Club Management podcast for insider tips. On site, plan to arrive in time to go to the First Time Attendees Gathering on Saturday, February 19, at 10:00 a.m. where you will meet and network with other ”new-bees” and hear directly from CMAA’s Board of Directors and Conference team.
Make your own think tank with Open Space—run by attendees, for attendees, in an informal, relaxed, and open environment. You come up with the topic or challenge, set the agenda for what’s discussed in the “pod,” and invite colleagues and new connections. The Open Space pod can be reserved for 30-minute conversations. More details on reserving the pod will be available closer to the World Conference.

While online voting will begin in December, there will be time set aside at the World Conference to vote for your 2022 CMAA National Directors. Be sure to read Outlook and visit CMAA's Voting Page to learn about your candidates before heading to the polls! (Voter eligibility verified onsite.)
