Select Individual Registration on the main event page – you will be prompted to login.

CMAA Members

  • On the page “Sign In or Activate Credentials.”
  • If you have current login credentials (you have logged in using the new format as of June 2018.)
  • Login, then proceed with your registration.

Non-Members

  • On the page “Sign In or Activate Credentials.”
  • Create or Update your login credentials.
  • Beneath “Not a registered user yet?” select Register.
  • Provide your Email, Name and a DOB, then click Search.
  • Follow the prompts to create a new account or use the red Forgot Password button to complete the login process.

Once you have successfully logged in

  • In the Registrant Type dropdown, select Attendee.
  • Select your preference beneath Event Fees. You should only choose ONE Event Fees option.
  • Please note the Full Registration categories include a ticket to the Networking Event; you will need to purchase a ticket separately in any other category if desired.
  • If adding a Significant Other, please use the Add Guest button near the bottom of the page.
  • Select your preference beneath Sessions.

Adding Significant Other Registrations

  • Please use the Add Guest button near the bottom of the page if adding at the same time.
  • If you are adding a significant other registration at a later date, after logging in, select My Events from the right-side menu. Select your existing registration, then use the Add Guest button.

Cancellation of full registration categories will be accepted until January 24, 2019, with no penalty. A refund of the full conference fee – minus a 25 percent penalty – will be given for cancellations received by February 22, 2019. No refunds will be granted for requests received after February 22, 2019. All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by the individual whose name appears on the registration. To be valid, submit all requests to CMAA Registration at cmaa.org/cancelevent.aspx. CMAA reserves the right to assess a $50 penalty fee if requests are made to change to a lesser registration category. No refunds will be issued for the following registration categories: Business Access or Faculty, at any time. CMAA regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows. Substitutions are gladly accepted; substitutions of registrations are permitted prior to the Conference and on site. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with the substitution. Badge sharing, splitting, and reprints are strictly prohibited.

  • All Education and the Opening and Closing Business Sessions will be business casual.
  • The Networking Event at the Ryman Auditorium will be Nashville casual and boots are highly encouraged.

All education and business sessions, the Club Business Expo, registration, and most Conference events (excluding the Networking Event) will take place at the Music City Center, 201 5th Avenue S, Nashville, TN. Rooms blocks have been established at three conveniently located hotels.

An online orientation webinar will be held in January for those attending the World Conference for the first time. Watch your email for an invitation to participate! On-site, you can participate in the First-Time Attendee Gathering on Sunday, February 24, at 10:45 a.m. and connect with other first-time attendees.

  • By attending all scheduled sessions of education, you can earn up to 22.5 Club Management Institute (CMI) Education Credits.
  • Complete your session evaluation survey correctly on the CMAA Events App. Please enter the attendance code provided at each session.
  • Extend your trip and add a Pre-Conference Workshop and earn six CMI credits.
  • Register for a Full Member Registration. This registration category earns 12 Association Activity Credits, the most of any category.

  • All advance communications including confirmations and reminders will be distributed via email. Make sure the address cmaa.org is on your email safe senders list. If you have not been receiving current announcements from CMAA or if you have opted out of any emails in the past, please visit the Get Mail page at cmaa.org/getmail.aspx to make sure CMAA has your current information.
  • Communications, including on-site schedule changes, will be communicated via the Conference Events App. Make your in-App notifications are turned on for the latest breaking news.
  • Daily news will be distributed each morning via email through the Conference Daily.

Focus on specific benefits that you will bring back to your club and the staff team to demonstrate return on investment. Beyond networking, it is a great event for recruiting future staff team members, gathering new ideas from the more than 200 shared in the Idea Fair, and gaining valuable insights from industry experts, consultants, and practitioners as well as leading business and brand professionals whose expertise easily translates to success in the club world.

Correlate your club’s needs with the available education using the Conference Brochure and session information available online and illustrate how session attendance best fits with your club’s current needs.

Prepare a plan that will show your club board/ownership/supervisor who will handle your club responsibilities while you are attending Conference.

Explain how you will share your experience. Propose to deliver a short presentation to your colleagues to share what you learned and offer possible applications and recommendations relevant to your club board/ownership/staff team.
