Come celebrate the achievements of the Who’s Who of CMAA including the Chapter of the Year, Excellence in Education, and New Member Recruitment Contest; new inductees to the 25-Year Club; the 2018 Club Executive of the Year; and The Club Foundation scholarship recipients. The winners of the Idea Fair, which showcases the best club-tested ideas submitted by CMAA members, will be unveiled.

The 30th Anniversary of The Club Foundation will be recognized and celebrated. The Awards Breakfast will replace the tradition Foundation evening event, giving you more time to enjoy the nightlife in Nashville.

After the awards presentations, hear from Scott Hamilton, Olympic Champion, television broadcaster, philanthropist, motivational speaker, author, husband, father, cancer survivor, and eternal optimist. In 1984, Scott captured the hearts of millions of viewers worldwide with his incredible Olympic gold medal-winning performance in Sarajevo. Since then he has entertained millions more with his exciting performances, complete with backflips, artistry, and humor. Considered one of the greatest male figure skaters of all time, and figure skating’s voice of authority in the US, Scott has spent the last 30-plus years providing his infectious analysis of national and global skating competitions.

A celebrated author, Scott’s third book, Finish First: Winning Changes Everything, was released in February 2018. The first 500 attendees for the Awards Breakfast will receive a copy of the book and the opportunity to attend his book signing immediately following the breakfast.

Join the pre-party at Jason Aldean’s and enjoy four levels of good times, southern food with a flare, and live entertainment designed to make each visitor a part of Aldean Army. Aldean is a leading Country music star and three-time Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year.

For the main event, CMAA will take over one of Nashville’s most sought-after venues for an exclusive private event at the Ryman Auditorium. This is the exact spot where bluegrass was born—where Johnny Cash met June Carter, where souls were saved, and a slice of history was nearly lost. As the home of the Grand Ole Opry for 31 years, it was right here that country music found an audience beyond its own back porch, and countless careers took off as deals were signed on napkins and paper scraps backstage. This is a building where anything is possible: a soul can find redemption, a crumbling building can find salvation, and an unknown kid with a guitar can find his or her name in lights. 2019 Idea Fair


The 2019 Idea Fair competition will be held during the 2019 World Conference and Club Business Expo in Nashville, TN Entries will be on display in the Member Services Pavilion during its hours of operation, with the exception of when the entries are being judged, at which time the Idea Fair will be sectioned off. Entries will be accepted on site until 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 24, in the Member Services Pavilion.

Please fill out the online Idea Fair Entry Form by visiting this link. This will automatically send your text to CMAA National Headquarters and help us get all of the entries online more quickly and efficiently. Then print out three copies of the completed form. Please attach a plastic document protector to the back of your entry board to hold your entry forms.
